I would say you are walking her rather a lot, especially for a puppy. 20 – 30 mins would be more than enough per day for an actual adult.

Too much exercise can affect their growth at an early age, and for any age, can cause wear and tear of the knees. Remember Poms are susceptible to slipping patellas.

Hi thanks for that. But does it still apply if she is going to be larger than the standard pom. She is 5 months and weight 12lb.

also the vet said she is bruised. It must off happend when she played with a big dog an it jumped on her.

She is OK now thank goodness

I think that you should keep her away from bigger dogs. I had a 10lb. female that was injured from a larger dog that jumped on her. There bones are very fragile.
