5 years ago I went to a pet store to look for a puppy. I fell in love with this adorable black ball of fluff. I knew it was meant to be when I saw that he was born the same day as my grandfather. I took him home that day and named him Vanner. He has been such a joy to me. I knew immediately he was smart, he learned all the basic commands plus how to dance, play dead, look at me when I’m taking pics and many more. He has such a laid back personality, he lives to cuddle but he lives to play as well and hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t like. He’s great with kids and all people. The only downside to owning him has been a few health concerns, when he was 3 he developed a luxating patella where his knee pops out very rarely. Around the same time I found out he had some minor allergies but as long as I keep him on flea meds and use gentle shampoo he’s fine. Lastly about a year ago he got very sick and I rushed him to the vet he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The vet explained that he would need special food and couldn’t eat people food any more so he’s on a strict diet with only Cheerios as treats but I couldn’t Love him more.
