Hill’s, Science Diet-Small Bites

I have used this product in the past for my shitzu with no problems. This is the only food he was fed after three months of age. It agreed with very much although he died of a liver problem at 13 years. It was not related to his food. I can only remember him having a stomach upset rarely in his lifetime. He was spoiled with ice-cream. Every time someone had this, Lucky would have some in his bowl. Ten people made sure that he would have the same as us. He ate salads every day, lettuce and any vegetables, including tomatoes, no onions or green peppers. He also loved grapes and smelled them out when I went shopping. I have learned from this and do not feed my Poms any of these extras except vegetables and the Small Bites.
The diet for Emily, who is nine, Crystal, who is six receive apple pieces and bits of cheese, a few vegetable thin crackers as a treat, any good vegetables that I am consuming and of course a bit of toast and honey in the A.M. Everything is in very small quantities. Crystal is on a diet as she has Cushing’s Disease as her levels must be maintained, although she has to have yogurt everyday, she licks the cover. She is extremely lively. Emily has not had any health problems that caused a worry. For nine years, she is on the same diet as Crystal and they both flourish.
I highly recommend the Hill Science Diet food. I also used Hill’s Science Diet foods for Lucky to prevent anal gland problems after paying twice to have them drained. Product was WD No more rug rubbing. My Persian cat Winston, a large male was also on the Science product. He lived well until he was 17 years old.
I sincerely recommend Hills Science Diet for all animals, purchased from your vet only.
Sincerely, Rita Rail
