Our doggies go bonkers for this Grandma Lucy’s food, all flavors. We have one pomeranian and three other type of doggies. We were feeding them a dry kibbled food for years and they seemed to be getting tired of it. Sometimes they would skip a meal and sometimes for even three days straight without eating! So we decided to switch up their food. We tried other dry holistic brand foods and at first they were excited but they next day they could care less. Then we decided to try the Grandma Lucy’s Freeze Dried Food where you add warm water to it. This food is way more expensive especially if you are feeding four dogs but were compelled to try it, and they LOVE it. Of course they would love the more expensive food…. My pomeranian barks at me impatiently to hurry and make the food and then he runs around barking at the other doggies letting them know its time to eat. We’ve never seen them get so excited over food before. We have this one doggie who loves to eat but knows she can’t eat until after the walk so she hurries and does her business as fast as she can so she can get back home to eat.

With all that said, I am on this site looking for a dry kibble food for my pomeranian… My lil pom boy has had horrible breath since he was a puppy. At first I thought it was just puppy breath but it never went away, only getting worse. We brush our doggies teeth and his the most. We have so many different types of paste and sprays and powders. We’ve brought him to get his teeth cleaned too and I was scared the vet would say something horrible about how we do not take care of his teeth. But he said everything was fine, he got all the plaque off. He did however notice the pockets of his mouth are black, meaning there is a build-up of bacteria. He suggested I use a cotton swab with a little bit of peroxide and wipe in those little pockets behind his mouth every few days. I have done this religiously but his butt, oops I mean his mouth still smells like butt! And I think its actually gotten worse since on the new “wet” food. They all have been doing really well on this food, and their “poo” is not even as smelly as when they were on dry kibbles. But my little poor pom boy…I think maybe the wet food is not helping his breath any. Does anyone have this problem??? I’ve read it was best to feed dogs dry food because wet food causes plaque. Do you think I should put him back on dry kibbles? Is there a good dry dog food good for teeth? ~Thank you all for your time and reading my long long story….
